2. The competitions

– These terms and conditions apply to all competitions listed on the Promoter’s website at  http://wolfcompetitions.co.uk – The Competitions “Website”

– Entry fees for online entries are payable each time you enter unless the “Free Entry Route” Is Chosen.

Competition Entry

3.1. The competition will run between the opening and closing dates specified on the Website. These dates shall be referred to as the “Opening Date” and “Closing Date” respectively. All times and dates referred to are the times and dates in the United Kingdom.

3.2 Instant Win Competitions

Some competitions may include an Instant Win element alongside an end-of-competition prize. Where applicable, this will be clearly stated on the competition page.

Instant Win prizes are awarded independently of the end-of-competition draw. Winning an Instant Win prize does not affect an Entrant’s chances of winning the end-of-competition prize and does not exclude the Entrant from the final draw.

3.3 Draw Dates and Changes

The closing date and draw date for each competition will be clearly stated on the Website at the time of entry.

The Promoter reserves the right to change or extend a competition closing date and/or draw date only in exceptional and unavoidable circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, where doing so is necessary to ensure fairness to entrants or where entrants would not be disadvantaged by such a change.

A draw date will not be extended or delayed solely due to insufficient ticket sales or for commercial reasons.

Where a closing date or draw date is changed, the Promoter will take reasonable steps to notify all entrants of the change via the Website or by email.

3.4. All competition entries must be received by the Promoter no later than the specified time on the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the specified time on the Closing Date may be disqualified without a refund.

3.5. The maximum number of entries to the competition will be stated on the Website. The number of entries you can make may be limited if the maximum number of entries is reached.

3.6. To enter the competition:

(a) go to our website and view the competition question;

(b) select your answer to the competition question and the required number of entries;

(c) complete the checkout process and submit the online entry form; then

(d) complete the payment to receive your order confirmation.

3.7. All entries must be submitted in the English language. Entries in languages other than English will automatically be disqualified and no refund will be given.  Allowances for poor spelling will of course be made, but illegible entries will be excluded.

3.8. The Promoter will send confirmation that your entry has been received, and your allocated ticket number(s).

3.9. The Promoter will not accept responsibility for competition entries that are not completed, are lost, or are delayed regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, postal delays, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

3.10 By purchasing entries and submitting a competition entry, you are entering into a contract with the Promoter and are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

3.11. Under the Gambling Act 2005, the availability of a free entry deems the competition does not fall within the definition of a lottery. Consequently, you may enter the competition for free by complying with the following conditions:

(a) send your entry on a postcard by first or second class post to the Promoter at the competition address shown on all competitions.  We do not allow entries inside envelopes, a standard UK-sized postcard is 148mm x 105mm, any entry significantly different to these sizes will not be accepted, e.g. an entry on a significantly smaller or larger postcard.

(b) include with your entry:

(i) The competition you are entering as stated on the website.

(ii) your full name and date of birth;

(iii) your address;

(iv) a contact telephone number and email address registered on your account on our website; and

(c) incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified;

(d) you may submit free entries for any competition however each free entry must be submitted separately. Multiple entries in one envelope or one postcard will not be accepted and will be counted as one single entry;

(e) by entering the competition, you are confirming that you meet the criteria and accept these terms and conditions;

(f) your entry must be received by the Promoter before the Closing Date. Entries received post-Closing Date will not be accepted.

(g) the Promoter will not confirm receipt of your entry.

(h) if the number of paid and free entries reaches the competition limit before your free entry is received, your submission will not be accepted.

(i) Entrants must have created an account on the Website for the free entry to be processed. All details on the postcard MUST resemble the details on the account and phone and email must match to receive the order confirmation and ticket number. Postal entries in violation of this term cannot be processed.

Choosing a Winner

4.1 Selection Method

All Entrants will be entered into a draw to determine the winner of the end-of-competition prize.

(a) Live Draw – conducted on a social media platform using a random number generator; or

(b) Auto Draw – conducted automatically using a random number generator as soon as reasonably practicable after the competition ends.

The draw method for each competition will be clearly stated on the competition page prior to entry.

Instant Win prizes (where offered) are awarded separately and do not affect entry into the end-of-competition draw.

4.1.1 Instant Wins and Equal Treatment

Where a Competition includes Instant Win prizes, all valid entries — including paid entries and free postal entries — will be treated equally. Free postal entries will have the same chance of winning Instant Win prizes as paid entries.

Where an Instant Win prize consists of site credit, the credit will be applied to the Entrant’s account in the same way as for paid entries, provided the postal entry details match the registered account details. The Entrant will be notified using the contact details registered on their account.

Where an Instant Win prize consists of a cash prize or physical prize, the winner will be notified in the same manner as paid entrants, and the prize will be awarded subject to these Terms and Conditions.

Any discounts, promotions, bonuses, Instant Wins, or prize opportunities offered in connection with paid entries will also be available to free postal entries on equal terms.

Where a Competition includes Instant Win prizes, it will also include an end-of-competition prize, unless expressly stated otherwise. All valid entries, including those that have already won an Instant Win prize, will be entered into the end-of-competition draw.

The end-of-competition draw will be conducted in accordance with the Competition details and will take place on the published draw date, or earlier if all entries are sold, and in any event within 7 days of the Closing Date.

4.2. Entry Transparency: All Entrants will have their names and ticket numbers entered into a spreadsheet or a readable page. For live draws, this spreadsheet will be visible during the broadcast. If you wish to have your name censored from the spreadsheet, please contact info@dev.wolfcompetitions.co.uk with a reasonable time remaining before the draw takes place.

4.3. Winner Publicity: As part of the competition terms, all winners agree to be named during the draw (live or recorded) and on any media relating to winners that we may publish. This does not override your data protection rights; should any winner wish to exercise their right to be forgotten or request changes to published data, please email info@dev.wolfcompetitions.co.uk.

For assistance with entries, please email us at info@dev.wolfcompetitions.co.uk
